Hello readers, today I wanted to share with you one of my new favorite bloggers, Elina Caswell! She is does EVERYTHING! Including, beauty, family, travel, fashion, etc. Please, please make sure you check her blog out.
So first things first, makeup!
For this makeup look, I used a TINY bit of Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation, only on places where I needed it. I then used my Lorac Pro 1 palette, and using cream, champagne, sable, and taupe created a really soft, pretty eye look. Do not forget the mascara with this look! I also added accent lashes from Ardell when I got home from school. Another thing you can do is add a little bit of white eyeliner in the waterline, this is a staple for me, it can make the biggest difference in a look!
The eyebrows! This was another step I added when I got home from school, I took taupe from the Lorac palette and added a drop of water to my brush before applying it to give it a creamier consistency. It creates a dramatic look, but I love it!
For the cheeks I used a Rimmel cream blush, a Physician’s Formula bronzer, and MAC’s MSF in Soft&Gentle. I LOVE the face makeup, it is just so dewy and fresh.
And, for lippies I used a Revlon lip butter in Strawberry Shortcake with a Tanya Burr cosmetics gloss over the top of it. I am in LOVE with the pinky-toned lips. So spring-y and it brings some warmth into the look.
For my hair, I let it air dry, and I parted it as I normally would and then put all of the hair except for the hair in the front in a mid-height ponytail making sure not to mess up the part in the still loose hair. After that, I grabbed another hair tie and made sure to keep the part intact while adding that hair to the previous ponytail. I really love the way it looks.
As for my outfit, I am wearing a blouse that my sister gave to me, a Forever21 cardigan, and a silver bar necklace. I have on a pair of SUPER dark wash skinnies from Forever21, and I found my shoes at T.J.Maxx last year. To this day, still my favorite find! I also threw on a simple little thumb ring.
I hope that you all enjoyed this post! Please share it if you like it, and make sure you check out Elina’s blog as well.Thank you so much for reading!
