Hey guys! I hope that you are all doing well. Today I thought it would be fun to share a few different outfits including the same faux leather skirt! I think that they can be a fun statement piece in a wardrobe, and they go with just about anyone’s style. Let’s get into the looks!
The first look! This outfit is a little sporty, a little edgy, and a whole lot of cute! This coat is the most comfortable thing in my closet, it’s fuzzy and warm. It’s such an interesting contrast to the pencil skirt. I paired a pair of white sneakers to make the look even more casual. Also, can we take a second to admire the moon😻
número dos! This look is super sophisticated and classy, with a twist. The pleather really adds an interesting texture to the classic pencil skirt + blouse combo. You could pair this skirt with any color blouse and any color heel. This is actually a thrifted top, and I think that the color is stunning!
er three! This look mayyy be my favorite aesthetically. I'm going to teach you guys a little hack. If you have a cardigan, preferably with buttons, that's a little bit baggy… Wear it backwards! As long as there's no odd pattern or ruching, you won't be able to tell that it's not a trendy, backless sweater. There's my little tip of the day! I think the backless trend is so sexy, but it can still worn as classy. The wedges added a soft texture to the look. (& they are sooo comfy!)
inal look! Okay, so I might've lied… This is my favorite look!! 🙈 It’s so cute! So I just paired the skirt with a plain white tee, that I tied up into a crop top. Since this skirt accentuates my curves, I wanted to have at least one cropped look. You could totally dress this look up with a pair of strappy heels, but I decided to go for some Clark-style oxford booties. These shoes are probably my most-worn shoes that I own… I’ve had them for over five years! They’re a timeless piece, and I will wear them until my toe sticks out the end!
So that is all that I have for today’s post!! I hope that I helped inspire you guys to step out of your comfort zone and try a style that maybe you weren’t too keen to try. I would personally wear all of these looks, and please tag me if you try any of the styles or have your own pleather style! @chatterboxmali on Instagram✨ Thank you angels so much for reading!
