Hey guys! So today I wanted to share a few different outfits, with some of my tips on going braless. I think it’s all about confidence, almost anything fashion wise is. You have to commit to what you’re wearing (or not wearing), and be comfortable and confident doing it. So, let’s get into the looks!
1. Leggy Layers
Here’s my first look! If you’re trying it for the first time, I’d recommend something like this. I have a baggy button-down, big denim jacket, and shorts. So let’s breakdown this look, shall we? First up, the baggy button-down is going to make it pretty much impossible to even tell that you aren’t wearing a bra. This gigantic denim jacket is another added layer to protect your “modesty”. Now the shorts, you might be thinking I’m crazy right about now… But by showing a little leg, no one is going to notice if you aren’t wearing a bra🙈 It’s all about playing some things up and allowing others to hide for a bit! I threw a pair of booties on for a cute warm fall day vibe.
2. Tartan ✖️ Denim OMG! This is one of the cutest looks I’ve ever put together. I’m actually obsessed. This is one of my go-to’s. I have a bunch of large, inexpensive scarves that are a thick knit… They make amazing handkerchief crop tops🙈 This kind of top honestly looks better without a bra than it does with one. The tartan print in this one is so autumn-y, and the denim skirt looks adorable with it! I threw on some sneakers to tie it together. You could totally add a cardigan or a coat to the look if you wanted to. Remember, confidence is key 🔑
m>Sporty + Chic And the finale! This look is probably the most daring. This little semi-sheer white tank is more of a city-goer’s top, rather than small town Tennessee gal’s top. I still love it for pictures! You could definitely pair it with a sweater or a cardigan to make it a little less statement, I have worn it that way. I love the contrast of the sleek camisole with these oversized athletic pants! I threw on a pair of strappy gold heels for added chic factor, and a necklace that also has some golds and blacks✨ This hat is super special, it belonged to my late grandfather, and it was his absolute favorite. I find that the older I get, the more I am able to spot the little synchronicities of life.
Thank you lovebugs for reading this post! I hope that if you took just one thing away from this little blurb it is just BE CONFIDENT! I know, I know, it’s so easy to say, and so hard to actually practice. But I promise that by loving yourself, all of you, that it will lead to confidence and that will allow you to make deeper connections with people. You don’t have to worry about whether or not they will like you, whether or not they noticed you didn’t have makeup on, or whether or not they noticed you hadn’t shaved your legs for a week. These things cease to matter because WHO CARES?! No one! Be free! Exist loudly! Sending all of you positive thoughts and energy ✨
